WinBraille is a free Braille translation software provided by the company along with the printer. It supports translation of Open and Contracted Braille both. It also has the feature to convert images to tactile graphic format on-line. It is a user friendly software and can be used even by those who does not have prior knowledge of Braille.
2. Duxbury Braille Translator (DBT)
DBT provides translation and formatting facilities; automate the process of conversion from regular print to Braille and vice versa. It also provides word-processing facilities for working directly in the Braille as well as the print.

3. Shree-Lipi Braille Translator
Shree-Lipi developed by Modular Infotech Pvt. Ltd., Pune is India's most popular multilingual script processor software. Since Indian language are not supported readily in all versions of Windows operating system which is the leading OS being used, Shree-Lipi provides this facility in the form of Shree-Lipi keyboard handler that is the prime application of the whole Shree-Lipi package. This software is available for 11 regional languages.
4. Sparsha Braille Translator
Sparsha, is another Braille translator for Indian regional languages, and is available with the choice of 8 languages including English. It has the facility to translate English text in both Grade 1 and Grade 2 Braille, and it also has facility of producing mathematics book in Nemeth code adopted by India.

5. TGD Pro - Tactile Graphics Designer
TGD Pro is a two-program product, it includes QikTac and TraceME. It is available with or without a Tag/Pad but use of a Tag/Pad adds greatly to the functionality of the program. For instance it is possible to trace any diagram directly from the pad into the QikTac or TraceMe. Scanned images can also be used as a basis for a Braille print or flexi-paper image.
